Rebecca Collins serves as the academic programs manager at Kansas State University Olathe, where she coordinates academic administrative functions including course scheduling, curriculum development and adjunct faculty logistics. In this role, she works closely with faculty, program leaders and academic units across K-State's Olathe, Manhattan and Salina campuses to ensure compliance with university policies and support strategic academic initiatives.
Collins brings extensive experience in higher education administration, having most recently served as instructional support coordinator at Metropolitan Community College-Online.
Her background includes roles as instructional services coordinator and academic advisor at Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley, where she managed class scheduling, curriculum processes, faculty coordination and student advising. She also has held positions at Park University and Stephens College, developing expertise in academic advising, student services and program coordination.
She earned both her master's degree in college student personnel administration and bachelor's degree in tourism management with a minor in business administration from the University of Central Missouri.
Collins has been an active member of several professional organizations, including the Missouri Community College Association and the American Association for Women in Community Colleges, and has attended various conferences on topics related to student services and academic operations.
